… it’s coming up fast, just two weeks from Saturday at 4PM at the Mary Fisher Theater in Sedona I will be presenting an all new show and we will be pursuing the beauty of northern Arizona from the air, ground, water and everything in between. Michele of International Raptor and Falconry will also be there presenting with Enedina, her new Saker Falcon.

Aerial and wildlife photographs of all kinds will dominate the show … there is so much beauty that surrounds us and because in our daily lives we get so caught up in all things human, we frequently forget that all of this is ever present … this is a chance to immerse yourself in the real world and get acquainted with the others that we share the planet with.

Into the weekend for me and the plan is to return Monday morning. Have beautiful days and share the joy in your life with those you meet and greet …

    Smiles,

    Ted

Work well done and its just reward,
sunshine, rest and love—these are the
desiderata of happiness. In one fashion or
another we see them somewhere afar
in our path; and the vision keeps us in good
humor with the world and with ourselves.

    The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    By Tommy Acosta
Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
