… that I would like to be were running through my mind tonight and as always the Pacific Ocean was tugging at my heart … the beauty, power and majesty of the sea is constantly calling me. This is an image I captured last year on a trip to Northern California and the seas were running high. Just kind of get lost in the beauty of it and can hear and feel the ground shake from the power of these waves pounding the rocks.

I was going to fly this morning, but when I got up to the airport the smokey haze from Rx burns was such that I knew that there would be no photos worth taking. So I spent the morning drinking coffee and visiting with friends at the airport … home and began work on the 2018 calendar. I expect to have the calendar finished over the weekend and Sunday night will put out a contact sheet with the photos that will comprise the calendar. I am only going to do one printing of the calendar this year so if you would like a calendar let me know how many you would like before I place the order. This year the photos will be of my favorite subject matters and mostly in Northern Arizona.

I’m more than 200 emails behind in replying too, sorry, will try to catch up over the weekend.

Have a beautiful day and take some time to enjoy friends and family … share a smile. The weekend is here for me, backMonday morning.

    Cheers

    The Bloody Machine
    By Tommy Acosta
What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
