… it has been a while since I have been at the ponds near sunset with the beautiful fall colors reflected into the water. This shot is from November 30, 2016 at 4:39P at Bubbling Ponds and a green head mallard is dabbling in this molten golden water … nothing done to the shot other than to crop it and slightly increase the detail/sharpness of the image. Anything more would take away from that incredible moment. Shot with my 1DX MKI and it still captures incredible images … for shots like this the MK III would offer very slight improvement in image quality if any.
A fun and a busy day today and another one coming up … espresso in not that many hours.
Enjoy the day and if you get to live the entire day, that is terrific … this moment is all we have.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
