… I found this photo tucked away in a folder of wildlife shots taken on Watkins lake in Prescott … well, it didn’t quite look like this, but it is/was a shot of flowers growing in the shallow waters with beautiful lavender flowers on the top of the stems. I spent several hours looking at the photo over the last four days knowing that I wanted to use it, but not sure what to do with it … perhaps a composite? Straight photograph? Perhaps straight photograph with a few special effects? Nope, it is time for another unleashed image where I start with a photograph and let my mind go wild. A few special effects, blending modes and more … the result? I like it and hope you do too. This image is dedicated to my dear friend Dick … pick those pencils up again, Dick, or a Wacom pen on a large tablet!
A wonderful week coming up … some flying … some boating … some gem cutting … some time with friends and a lot of photography. Open your mind to the beauty and possibilities that surround you and you will smile … and so will those are close to you. Smiles are infectious and any alleged cure should be avoided.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
