By Ted Grussing
… hoping all of you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend … we’re into the two months of summer before Labor Day and fall arrive … it goes so fast.
Friday I took this shot from over Jacks Canyon right at about the point where it cuts back to the north. In the foreground on the left is Lees Mountain and to the left and below it are the Rabbit Ears formation, which from this view do not look so much like rabbit ears. Above Lees mountain is Cathedral Rock and to the right of it the airport, Thunder Mountain, Cockscomb and all the other neat rocks. Near the horizon upper left quadrant is Black Mountain, the gap looking into Sycamore Canyon and more. On the horizon on the right is Sitgreaves Mountain and to the left of that Bill Williams mountain.
Presents another view and one that is seldom seen. The red rock country is really not all that big, but from the ground it appears so … I like it here!
Have a beautiful day … smile and keep breathing!
Ted
Give me to gladly go
My way and say
No word of mine own woe;
But let me smile each day
