By Ted Grussing
… next up September and then October … my absolute favorite months of the year are almost here. The heat of summer is gone, a slight chill is in the air and the season for rest is upon us and nature is shutting down … maple trees display brilliant reds and the aspens turn yellow and gold. If we are lucky we get some snow to further enhance the beauty of forests turning color.
The photo above is a maple tree on the shore of Upper Eau Clair Lake, ner Barnes, Wisconsin taken near the end of September a few years ago and a couple of weeks later I took this shot of Kendrick Peak NW of Flagstaff, Arizona. The aspens were in full color and we got a magnificent snow storm the night before. So, August is here and September and October awaits the passage of a few more weeks.
Have an absolutely beautiful day … enjoy and live each moment … that is all you have!
Cheers,
Ted
