By Ted Grussing
… been a long week … last night I was starting to get the email out and about 4:30AM I awoke with my laptop sleeping on my lap … too late, shut it down and go back to sleep. So here is a shot I took a week or so ago with two crows in full attack mode on a Red Tail Hawk. Higher and higher the hawk flew with the crows continuing to follow him up. Eventually the attack broke off and the crows returned to their territory … perhaps the hawk was going for the nest and the young crows or it was a day they just decided to not get along. Anyhow, it was a fun show that they put on and thought it worthy of sending out.
I’ll be sending another shot out tomorrow night since I missed today.
Have a beautiful day … smile and share the joy in your life.
Cheers
Ted
Give me a few friends who will love me for what I am;
and keep ever burning before my vagrant steps the kindly light of hope.
And though age and infirmity overtake me, and I come not within
sight of the castle of my dreams, teach me still to be thankful for life;
and for time’s olden memories that are good and sweet; and may
the evenings twilight find me gentle still.
