By Ted Grussing
… this Great Blue Heron rolls into a position where his wings are giving him full flaps and also very effective air brakes, he is also positioned for his long legs to give him excellent shock absorbers as he touches down the joints in the legs fold so as to allow the body to come forward and the feet to lock on to the ground … maybe a small bounce and quick step or two. Anyhow, I like it and hope you do too.

A very fun day today mostly spent in the company of friends including the presentation at KSB … pretty much a full house and when I get to show my photos to a group such as this … well it is special and a big thanks for the invitation. KSB does a great job advocating for the city and preserving this treasure where we live.
Time to wrap the day and for me the week … have a joyous day and back Monday.

I bring but this one common thought, my life has wrought;
That from the dregs of drear despair, still everywhere
There is a joy I yet may sip – Tis comradeship
With all mankind, the high and low
I know.
