… a friend and I did a raptor shoot in February and one of my favorite raptors ever was part of the shoot, Finley the American Kestrel and this is one of many shots I got of him. The birds are highly trained, but when they are flying, it is still you who either gets the shot or not … methinks I got him.

Michele is Finley’s handler and trainer … she also had Finley at the presentation at the Mary Fisher Theater in March. We currently have a tentative date for March 12, 2021 at the Mary Fisher for an all new show … hopefully the situation will be such that we can go forward with the show. Also hoping to have Anthony Mazzella back and Michele and Finley too. Will keep you advised as we get nearer to the date.

Down to the Lake at noon and hoping for some great shots … have a wonderful day and smile.

    Cheers,

    Ted

    What great virtue is thine
That God has so elevated thee
That men and women and children serve thee,
Yet though servest not at all?
And what great wrong have they done
Who serve always yet are never served?
Does God not love them also?

    The Bloody Machine
    By Tommy Acosta
What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
