… One has joined the cause of keeping our skies dark, although she seems to be getting a head start on time of day when we expect dark skies … probably because I do not let her out at night, so she spends her time loafing and soaking up rays whilst keeping part of the earth a little darker … there are reasons some clouds have very dark bases and now you know why.

In the image, One is keeping Oak Creek Canyon in shadow as it is directly below her … beyond and to her the left of her you can see into Long Canyon, to the immediate left of her and below the darkened clouds Mt. Wilson is in quiet silence and uptown, not visible is below the clouds on the left side of the image. Fun image, fun day and fun music by Mediaeval Baebes.

Looks like a good day to fly and there will be clouds for One to relax on while I circle nearby and take photos of her … sure … have a beautiful day, enjoy life and those whom you meet and greet.

    Cheers

    Ted

May I not forget that poverty and riches are of the spirit,
Though the world knows me not,
May my thoughts and actions be such as shall keep me friendly with myself.

    The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    By Tommy Acosta
Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
