By Ted Grussing
… the northeast side of the San Francisco Peaks on a beautiful October morning. The aspen groves on the mountain were at peak color and the air crisp and clean … ahead and to the right of the mountain, about 10 to 15 miles out is Kendrick Peak which was also in full color … lesser volcanoes dot the landscape of an area known as the San Francisco Volcanic Field … home to more than 600 volcanoes, the most recent of which is Sunset Crater and only around 900 hundred years old. Sunset Crater is behind and to the SE of me. I had just finished shooting the inner basin which also was in full color. The air was clear and you could see forever.
Time to wrap the day … have a beautiful day and weekend. Keep breathing and smiling as you go through each day … look for beauty and you will find it … within yourself and others. Back Monday morning.
Cheers
Ted
