    Sweet Corn Festival at Mortimer Family Farms

    logo_mortimerfamilyfarmsDewey AZ (August 12, 2013) – Locally owned Mortimer Family Farms announced today that it will be host their Sweet Corn Festival on August 17th and 18th in Dewey Az. This festival will feature everything “CORN!” Free Admission.

    They will have entertainment for the entire family, to include: Just picked Fresh Corn, delicious Roasted Corn, Corn Bath, & more! Enjoy a hay ride to the corn field and pick your own corn! Are you competitive? Test your skills with a Corn Eating competition, Corn Shucking competition, & Corn Toss with prizes being awarded.

    The Mile High Tractor Club will be displaying antique tractors for all to enjoy! Watch as they compete for “Top Pull” seeing which Operator & Tractor can pull the weighted sled the furthest.

    Join Farmer Buzz on a hayride tour of the farm with lots of stories and history about our area. Don’t miss the Bubble Run, Bounce Play Land, Euro bungee, Carriage Rides, Pony Rides, Barrel Train, Face Painting, “Corny” food and More! Learn about the history of Dewey-Humboldt with the Historical Society, and watch a real Blacksmith create works of art in iron! Music and entertainment will be enjoyed by all during the festival.

    Calling all RUNNERS! Go Adventure Recreation will be onsite Saturday with a 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk beginning at 7 AM. Get all the information and signup today at go-ar.com.

    Join us for our Farm Dinner & Dance Saturday from 6:00 9:30 pm with live music by TEQUILA HIGHWAY. Dinner & Dance cost is $12.00
