logo_sedonafiredistrictSedona AZ (July 1, 2016) -Sedona Fire District, in partnership with the American Red Cross,  is sponsoring a blood drive in the multi-purpose room at Sedona Fire District Fire Station #1, located at 2860 Southwest Drive in West Sedona. The blood drive will be on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The American Red Cross reports every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Sedona Fire District Fire Marshal Gary Johnson asks “Will you be the one that gives that precious gift of life? A decision to donate your blood can save a life or even several if your blood is separated into its components.”

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
