logo_sedonaartmuseum2Sedona AZ (January 20, 2016) – Joanna Newman, a long-time Sedona resident, was recently elected to the Board of the Sedona Art Museum as Treasurer.  She started her accounting business here in 1975 with her husband Chet’s help after ten years with the Del Webb Corporation in Phoenix.

photo_joannanewmanHer endeavors in the community include serving as past president and treasurer of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Sedona; past president and treasurer of Soroptomist International Club of Sedona, and volunteering with the Sedona Arts Center, Sedona Chamber of Commerce, Jazz on the Rocks, St. Patrick’s Day Parade and several other non-profit organizations.

“My favorite time was the decade I spent on the Board of the Sedona Humane Society,” said Joanna.  “We raised a great deal of money and support for the new building.”
