A single lane restriction will be in effect for the next three months during work hours
Camp Verde AZ (March 1, 2013) – The Arizona Department of Transportation began a pavement improvement project this week along on a two-mile segment of eastbound State Route 260, approximately 17 miles east of Camp Verde (mileposts 235-237). Work will include repaving the roadway and installing new concrete shoulders in an effort to improve drainage in the area.
Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for the next three months.
A flagging operation is in place and the speed limit has been reduced to 25 mph through the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to reduced speed limits and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. Minimal delays are expected.
Clearly marked detour signage will be in place each day to direct traffic around the work zone. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
