    Meet the Firm Selected to Create the Master Plan

    Sedona, AZ (August 12, 2011) – Have questions or comments regarding the development of the Sedona Parks and Recreation Master Plan? Interested in supporting local Parks and Recreation? Then join the City of Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation at an Open House on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Vultee Conference Room at City Hall, 102 Roadrunner Drive in Sedona.

    This open house provides the community with an opportunity to meet Olsson Associates, the firm selected to create the Master Plan. The public will have the opportunity to ask questions, view timelines and provide valuable input that will affect the future of the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation development and opportunities.

    War…What is it good for? Obviously, it is good for those who profit from destruction and the taking of human life. And what is the common denominator, the impetus for war throughout the centuries? It’s about the acquisition of land, by force, deceit or any other means possible. During the holidays I went to a party where this retired couple were recounting a land dispute they were having with their neighbor. It seems their neighbor was claiming an extra six feet on their property line and the animosity had grown so strong that they were now in court trying to settle whose six feet of land it was. Prior to the dispute they had been friendly but now they had become arch enemies, all for a tiny piece of land. Read more→
