Verde Valley News – Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) has announced that they are currently holding a Bottomless Toy Drive at two of its Verde Valley locations. NAH is asking community members to donate toys that bring comfort and distraction to pediatric patients during times of emergency and illness. As the Verde Valley community grows, so does the number of young patients our health care teams support.

NAH is accepting new (in its package or with tags), age-appropriate toys, activities, fidgets and comfort items for patients aged infant to teen.

Examples of items that can be donated:

    • Barbies and action figures
    • Books (for reading, coloring or problem-solving)
    • Bubbles
    • Colorful or glittery toys
    • Light-up toys
    • Puzzles
    • Rubik’s Cube
    • Sensory toys (fidget spinners, squishy toys, Play-Doh, Slinkys)
    • Stuffed animals
    • Toy cars

Donations can be dropped off at the Registration Desk at the following locations through Sunday, May 4:

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Sedona Emergency Department
    3700 W. State Route 89
    Sedona, AZ 86336

    Verde Valley Medical Center
    269 S Candy Ln.,
    Cottonwood, AZ 86326

NAH thanks the community for helping us make a difference by bringing joy to children when they need it most.
