    Motor Vehicle Accident at SR89-A and Page Springs Road

    logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCottonwood AZ (February 14, 2017) – On the evening of February 13 at approximately 6:15 pm the Verde Valley Fire District responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident at the intersection of northbound 89A and N. Page Spring Road.  Upon arrival crew found 2 vehicles with heavy front end damage approximately 75 ft apart from one another. 

    Patent assessment revealed three patients, one critical and two with moderate injuries, and one deceased dog.  All patients needed to be extricated due to the extent of the damage.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Assisting VVFD was Sedona Fire District, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.  

    One patient was transported VIA Native Air 14 helicopter to Flagstaff Medical and the other two patients were transported by ground to Verde Valley Medical Center. 

    89A and Page Spring Road was shut down for approximately 1.5 hours.  A reminder to motorists is to use extra caution when traveling through these type of intersection.
