logo_ksbSedona AZ (December 26, 2015) – Keep Sedona Beautiful will hold its 44th annual Achievement Awards event on Feb. 13 in the Los Abrigados ballroom.  Every year since 1972, KSB has recognized outstanding efforts to do what its name implies — to “keep Sedona beautiful”  in many ways.  The awards have been made to businesses, individuals and organizations for signage, landscaping, and for architecture that complements — rather than conflicts with — our natural setting.  Awards also are earned for exemplary achievements in community service and environmental stewardship, as well as reduction of light pollution and noise.

20151226_ksbKSB’s recognitions have extended beyond Greater Sedona,  to other Verde Valley and county-wide organizations.  Last  year, a KSB award went to the City of Cottonwood for its wastewater recovery system.

This year’s KSB awards will be presented at the luncheon on Feb. 13.  Twelve awards will be made to deserving individuals and organizations.  Emcees again will be the popular entertainers Tom and Shondra.  Doors will open to the Los Abrigados ballroom at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon, followed by the awards presentations.  For information, call KSB at 282-4938 during business hours or email info@keepsedonabeautiful.org anytime.

Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
