    Journey from Spain to Jerusalem through the ages

    logo_jewishcommunitySedona AZ (May 6, 2017) – The Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley will screen the film, From Toledo to Jerusalem, on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Kohava Benatar will lead the discussion before and after the film. The film covers five hundred years of Sephardic life, history and culture. The journey went through the Mediterranean Jewish centers: Cordoba, Venice, Salonika, Istanbul, Sarajevo plus Auschwitz. The last legs of the journey were to Tiberius and Safed in Israel, ending in Jerusalem. The film is accompanied by Romanceros and Ladino songs. All are welcome to view the film and there is no charge.
