Cottonwood AZ (December 12, 2013) – Swing your partner and tap those toes at the annual Holiday Contra Dance, Saturday Dec. 21st. We will have one of Arizona’s favorite contra bands: Updraft, featuring fiddle, piano, and mandolin with calling by Judy Zeidel from Phoenix.
The dance is held at the Cottonwood Civic Center, 805 N. Main St. in old town Cottonwood. Beginners are always welcome and should be sure to come to the pre-dance lesson at 6:30; the regular dance is 7PM to 10 PM. No partner or experience is necessary. Please bring a snack to share if you can. Cost is $7.00 per dancer, $5 for students, and $4 for those 16 and under.
