Jerome AZ (September 9, 2015) – The 12th Annual GHOST WALK, “Faces from the Past,” proudly produced by the Jerome Historical Society returns to Jerome Friday and Saturday, October 9-10. The night begins in Spook Hall and continues on the back streets of town with scenes depicting some events and characters from Jerome’s infamous past along with some history explaining the role of the Jerome Historical Society in the preservation of this historic mining town.
Scenes depicted:
- A mine shaft accident – circa 1911.
- The Jimenez Execution Murders – circa 1928.
- The Sammie Dean Strangulation – circa 1931
- Belgian Jennie – circa 1905
- Shootout in the Balkan Saloon – circa 1912.
Due to the nature of some of the scenes being depicted, this performance is rated as PG-13.
The show includes walking over uneven ground at night. Wear comfortable shoes. The route is not handicap accessible.
