Jerome AZ (October 24, 2013) – This month, Casa Latina has added more colorful arts & crafts from Old Mexico. November 1st & 2nd is Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, a celebration of life with a long tradition in Latin Cultures. In recent years, it has had growing popularity across all cultures. As usual, they have stocked for this wondrous occasion. Individually hand-made and enchanting (Guadalajara style) clay Catrinas in many different varieties are in abundance at Casa Latina. Come join them and celebrate with refreshments and music by in house artist Duane Ewing at the Merchants Gathering Building (next door to the Visitor’s Center).
