City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (August 16, 2016) – The city of Sedona is currently seeking to fill three positions on the Historic Preservation Commission, because three current members’ terms will be expiring. This voluntary body is made up of seven citizens appointed and established by City Council to promote and protect Sedona’s historic character and identity.

More specifically, as an extension of the Arizona State Preservation Office, the Historic Preservation Commission reviews the approval of restoration and improvements to designated historical landmark homes and properties. The commission’s service is part of a larger effort state and nation wide to preserve historic landmarks, which in Sedona relates mainly to the city’s pioneer heritage.

“Preserving Sedona’s history is an important element of the community fabric linking us all to the past pioneers of this great place. Volunteers on the Historic Preservation Commission play a key role in helping the city maintain this link to the past for current and future residents and visitors,” said Warren Campbell, assistant community development director.

    Whack – A – Mole War

It looks like the tried-and-true method of armed conflict where armies face each other and kill until somebody wins or gives up, now all it takes is assassinating the leadership Israeli style. We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
