City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (July 21, 2016) – To meet the needs of patients throughout the country, the American Red Cross must collect 15,000 donations daily and the city of Sedona is proud to be able to assist in this effort to save lives by hosting an American Red Cross blood drive at Sedona’s City Hall on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Members of the Sedona and Verde Valley communities are encouraged to give blood or come in support of a friend who will be donating blood. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion, and right now blood donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in. In just one hour, someone can help save up to three lives by donating blood.

While walk-ins are accepted, the best way to ensure a donation is to make an appointment through the American Red Cross website. Visit www.RedCrossBlood.org, enter the sponsor code “sedona” and select a time slot to donate. Those with appointments have priority over walk-ins.

Representatives from the American Red Cross will be on hand to make donors comfortable and offer light refreshments. The drive will be located in the Vultee Conference Room at City Hall on 102 Roadrunner Drive.

We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
