    Camp Verde Marshall’s Office Monthly Activity Report

    To better inform our community regarding activity at the Marshals Office we are releasing the following information. Below is a statistical accounting comparing March 2023 vs. March 2024.  Total calls for service are those calls resulting in Police activity. Traffic stops significantly increased, along with overall arrests. Speeding along SR 260 continues to be an issue. Slow down and please pay extra attention in the roundabouts. “Yield to traffic already in the roundabout.”

    March 2024 Highlights

    On 03/06/2024 Camp Verde detectives located and arrested two suspects from a fraud incident originally reported on 02/20/2024. The two suspects made unauthorized transactions on a credit/debit card that was reported missing by the victim. The male and female were booked in the Yavapai County Jail on multiple felonies.

    On 03/08/2024 at approximately 2010 hours in the area of SR 260 and Cherry Creek Rd, a traffic stop was conducted on a female who was found in possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for possession of dangerous drugs.

    On 03/09/2024 at approximately 1610 hours a local Camp Verde male was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail for endangerment, aggravated assault, weapons misconduct, unlawful flight, and resisting arrest after fleeing from Camp Verde Deputies following a physical altercation that took place at a residence on Verde River Dr.

    On 03/14/2024 at approximately 2140 hours in the area of Finnie Flat Rd, a traffic stop was conducted on a female who provided a false name to deputies. A DUI investigation was conducted, and the driver was determined to be impaired. A search was conducted where methamphetamine paraphernalia was located. A blood draw was conducted after obtaining a search warrant. The female was subsequently booked into the Yavapai County jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

    On 03/16/2024 at approximately 2030 hours Camp Verde Deputies assisted the Yavapai Apache Police Department with a disorderly male subject who was trespassing at the Cliff Castle Casino. The male was identified prior to the arrival of law enforcement. It was discovered that the male had an active warrant for his arrest. The male subject, who was known by law enforcement to carry weapons, was located, and contacted on Middle Verde Road. The subject provided a false name to deputies.  The male refused to comply with officers’ commands and was subsequently taken to the ground where he was placed under arrest. He was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for the warrant, resisting arrest, and provided a false name.

    On 03/22/2024 at approximately 0000 hours in the area of Finnie Flat Rd, a local female resident was contacted on a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration. It was discovered that the female had an outstanding warrant. She was arrested and found in possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into the Yavapai County for the warrant and possession of dangerous drugs.

    On 03/23/2024 at approximately 0320 hours, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after the driver drove the wrong way in the area of SR 260 and I-17.   A DUI investigation was conducted resulting in the arrest of the male subject. The driver was booked into the Yavapai County jail for aggravated DUI (felony).

    On 03/25/2024 at approximately 1704 hours in the area of Finnie Flat Rd, a traffic stop was conducted on a local Camp Verde male for suspended vehicle registration. A search was conducted during the investigation where methamphetamine was located. The male was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for possession of dangerous drugs.

    On 03/26/2024, at approximately 1410 hours in the area of SR 260 and Aultman Parkway, a traffic stop was conducted on a local Camp Verde male for operating a vehicle with canceled registration. The male had a full extradition felony warrant from the Arizona Department of Corrections for a parole violation. The male was found in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia. The male was booked into the Yavapai County jail for multiple felony charges.

    On 03/31/2024, at approximately 2152, a local Camp Verde female was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail for ARS13-3407 Possession of Dangerous Drugs (methamphetamine) and ARS13-3415A Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after being contacted on a traffic stop on eastbound SR 260 at Milepost 219. She was also booked for an outstanding felony warrant.
