By Ted Grussing… and these three wild burros can only be classed as drinking buddies as they take a long drink from Lake Pleasant along the shore. All in all we saw several dozen burros today, along with Coyotes, Bald Eagles, Cormorants, Western Grebes, King Fishers, Black and Turkey Vultures, Great Blue Herons, North American Coots, and more than a few large fish jumping. It was by any standards a very successful shoot. I came home with1900+ shots and have now got it reduced to a little over 500 … another 200 have to go.

Phoenix AZ (October 1, 2020) – Attorney General Mark Brnovich today announced that Anthem, Inc. has agreed to pay Arizona over $280,000 to resolve allegations stemming from a 2014 data breach that involved the personal information of 78.8 million Americans. The settlement with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is part of a $39.5 million settlement with 43 total states and the District of Columbia. In addition to the payment, Anthem has also agreed to a series of data security and good governance provisions designed to strengthen its practices going forward.

By Ted Grussing… this seems to be a week for portraits and here is another one, but this is of a very cooperative Bluebird that I shot in a friends backyard this past February … a combination of wide open lens, close proximity to the bird and a relatively shallow depth of field gave me the bluebird in sharp focus and an amazing background.
