Sedona AZ (April 3, 2021) – The city of Sedona still seeks one applicant for a seat on the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) Local Board as one member has resigned.The PSPRS Local Board administers the pension system for the Sedona Police Department and follows the rules of the PSPRS system and Arizona Revised Statutes. Additionally, the board makes decisions for Sedona police officers on issues such as membership in the system and approving retirements and service purchase requests.

Camp Verde AZ (April 1, 2021) – Music in the Stacks, a free monthly concert series, returns on Thursday, April 8th at 5:30 pm in Camp Verde Community Library’s Fireside Room. Just to the right of the horizon there is a kind of loaf shape object rising from the plateau and this is Mormon Mountain. It is good to remember that, at least here in the Sedona area, many mountains are not peaks, but are flat tops. This includes Casner Mountain from last night and several here in tonight’s photo.
