… we had the boat in the water before 6AM this morning (actually yesterday), and did a quick scouting tour of Castle Creek Bay and got a few nice shots before heading over to the NE side of the lake … we had no idea what was waiting for us! Verde Valley News – On Saturday, May 28, 2022, at about 1:10 a.m., a fatal collision occurred on Interstate 17 southbound near Camp Verde (milepost 302). The collision involved a gold Saturn Vue.    The driver of the Saturn Vue died from injuries he sustained in the collision. A passenger was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was identified as 19-year-old Charles Mann of Mesa. The front seat passenger was identified as 19-year-old Taylor Ross of Chandler.    The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) is seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw other vehicles involved with the Saturn prior to, or after the collision occurred.…

Cottonwood News – Art has always been part of Nancy Hudson’s life and there are not many mediums she has tried and not mastered. With pottery as her latest endeavor, Nancy won the “Artist of the Month” award for her hand-built ceramic piece at the May El Valle Art Association (EVAA) meeting. Sedona News – The city of Sedona’s Parks and Recreation Department invites all who are interested to register for the wood-bat adult recreational softball league before June 3, 2022.    Both men and women are welcome to participate. While teams can be coed, the league will follow the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Men’s Adult Softball League rules and regulations. Players must be 16 years of age or older.
