… an incredible morning at Lynx Lake, near Prescott this morning … on the road down to the lake we saw an Abert’s squirrel by the side of the road so I pulled over, the squirrel took off for one of the very tall ponderosa pines. By the time I got my camera out he had climbed up to about the 75 foot level in the tree which was in a deep valley and almost even with me, maybe 200 feet away.
