    ROBERT MAC

Robert Mac was the grand-prize winner of Comedy Central’s national stand-up competition and has appeared on Last Comic Standing, The Learning Channel, Comedy Central, and many shows that have since gone off the air. He’s performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, the San Francisco Comedy Competition, and the Boston Comedy Festival, to name a few.

His first Dry Bar Comedy special (Know More Robert Mac) was so successful that they asked him to perform a second (Back to Lake Titicaca).

His act is smart, delightful, and original. If you prefer brainy, dead-pan comedy over brain-dead, pandering comedy, check him out.

    KEITH ELLIS

A simple bet with that friend led him to the stage at a comedy club, and Keith found himself in an open-microphone competition without a script. The result? Keith placed second out of approximately 16 competitors that night. From that day forth Keith has continued honing his comedic and acting skills, appearing in movies, print ads, commercials and working comedy clubs and casinos across the country.

While comedy is his life ambition, Ellis has many acting credits on his resume as well. He has been cast in movies such as Waiting to Exhale, What Planet Are You From, Any Given Sunday, Twisted and Three Kings. He has appeared alongside acting heavyweights George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Jamie Foxx and Samuel Jackson. He has also appeared in several commercials on the west coast.

Stand-Up Comedy Night with Robert Mac hits the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20.

For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.

    One Bullet Away

There’s a storm cloud coiling over America, and most don’t see it yet. But it’s there. Dark. Imminent. Unavoidable. Call it fate, call it consequence—but don’t call it fiction. The divide is real. And it’s calcifying by the hour.
