Cottonwood AZ (October 9, 2015) – On Wednesday October 7th approximately 3:40pm Verde Valley Fire District responded to a motor vehicle accident on 89A near Kelli Lane. Upon arrival crews found two vehicles involved in a T-Boned collision. After the crews assessed the patients they discovered one patient with life threatening injuries and needing to be extricated. Once extricated and stabilized by the crew she was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center by Guardian Medical Helicopter. There was another patient transport by ambulance to Verde Valley Medical Center with minor injuries. 89A was closed for approximately 2 hours by DPS, Cottonwood PD, and YCSO for an investigation of the accident.
