    logo_campverdecommunitylibraryCamp Verde AZ (January 30, 2019) – Come to Camp Verde Community Library from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursdays starting on February 7th through April 11th for no-cost tax preparation and e-filing services for taxpayers of all ages by AARP Tax-Aide IRS-certified volunteers.

    You need to bring the following items to help you prepare your tax return(s):  Previous year’s tax return(s), Social Security cards and/or ITIN notices/cards or other official documentation that show the taxpayer identification numbers for every individual on your return, Government-issued photo ID for each taxpayer, Checking or savings account information if you want to direct deposit any refund(s) or direct debit any amounts due, Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) (for each individual if applicable), Income documents such as W-2’s 1099’s, etc., Deduction documents if doing itemized deductions, and 1095-A forms if you purchased insurance through the Marketplace (Exchange).

    War…What is it good for? Obviously, it is good for those who profit from destruction and the taking of human life. And what is the common denominator, the impetus for war throughout the centuries? It’s about the acquisition of land, by force, deceit or any other means possible. During the holidays I went to a party where this retired couple were recounting a land dispute they were having with their neighbor. It seems their neighbor was claiming an extra six feet on their property line and the animosity had grown so strong that they were now in court trying to settle whose six feet of land it was. Prior to the dispute they had been friendly but now they had become arch enemies, all for a tiny piece of land. Read more→
