    Adult Softball League registration starts April 23

    City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (April 8, 2019) – Registration for Sedona Parks and Recreation adult softball league opens April 23 and continues through May 16.

    This is a wood bat league and both men and women are welcome to participate. While teams can be coed, the league will follow ASA Men’s Adult Softball League rules and regulations. There is a maximum of 20 players per team and players must be 16 years of age or older. The fee is $275 per team and $15 per player.

    Games will be played on Thursday evenings beginning June 6 at Posse Grounds Park and will run 10 to 12 weeks depending on the number of teams.  

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Managers/coaches can register their teams at the Parks and Recreation Department office at located at 525 Posse Ground Rd. There will be a mandatory manager/coaches meeting on May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Posse Grounds Park softball field ramada; a team representative must attend. We will discuss league rules, regulations and tournament play.

    Looking to play but don’t have a team to join?  Place your name on the pick-up list by calling the Parks and Recreation office at (928) 282-7098 or email your information to sedonarec@sedonaaz.gov.

    The city is seeking scorekeepers and umpires to assist during the season. Visit sedonaaz.gov/jobs for details.
