Sedona AZ (January 24, 2012) – The City of Sedona Art in Public Places Committee is proud to announce a new exhibition featuring the Sedona Area Guild of Artists (SAGA). A variety of their members’ artwork can be viewed in the Council Chambers now through March 23, 2012.
SAGA believes that a vibrant, exciting art community is key to improving Sedona’s reputation as an art destination. That Sedona can, once again, regain the reputation it once legitimately had when Joe Beeler and the Cowboy Artists of America was strong and that Sedona can once again become the art center of the Southwest.
Their displayed pieces include three-dimensional art, photographs, and paintings that encompass many mediums. For more information on SAGA, please visit their website at www.sedonaareaguildofartists.com.
To view this exhibit, please contact Brenda Tammarine, Arts & Culture Department at 928-203-5189 for a private tour of the Chambers. Anyone interested in purchasing the artwork on display will be referred to the artist.
