City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (January 24, 2012) – The City of Sedona Art in Public Places Committee is proud to announce a new exhibition featuring the Sedona Area Guild of Artists (SAGA). A variety of their members’ artwork can be viewed in the Council Chambers now through March 23, 2012.

SAGA believes that a vibrant, exciting art community is key to improving Sedona’s reputation as an art destination. That Sedona can, once again, regain the reputation it once legitimately had when Joe Beeler and the Cowboy Artists of America was strong and that Sedona can once again become the art center of the Southwest.

Their displayed pieces include three-dimensional art, photographs, and paintings that encompass many mediums. For more information on SAGA, please visit their website at www.sedonaareaguildofartists.com.

One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
