    Slide Rock State Park’s Fall Festival is Coming Soon

    Arizona State ParksSedona AZ (September 15, 2018) – Fall is on its way, and it’s time to celebrate the changing seasons at Slide Rock State Park! Join us for the 11th annual Fall Festival on September 29, 2018. Juicy apples, colored leaves, and cooler temperatures will have the whole family enjoying the transition to autumn!

    Experience the park with family-friendly activities and gorgeous views at the apple orchard. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will be packed with fun until 3 p.m. Southwest Monarch Study, Oak Creek Apple Company, beekeepers, blacksmiths, Arizona Flywheeler’s antique engines and tractors, the Sedona Arts Center, and more are joining us to make Fall Fest unforgettable. Smokey Bear from the U.S. Forest Service and Rocky Ringtail of Arizona State Parks & Trails will also be in attendance, meeting with kids and enjoying the day.

    Slide Rock State Park began as a working apple orchard. Today,its agricultural legacy continues. The orchard is still a working commercial apple ranch that features an original vintage 30-foot-long apple sorting machine reconstructed by volunteers, still in the historic Pendley apple shed.

    WHAT: Fall Festival – The cost is $20 per vehicle. 

    WHERE: Slide Rock State Park – Located 7 miles north of Sedona in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon.
