… it was a great weekend and in and amongst the things, I spent some time watching videos of soaring … actually quite a few hours and find it almost as addicting as actually doing it. Cool flying and cool music … cannot visualize myself without a soaring machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azIRvqGDK4A. and the photo tonight is one I took while working ridge lift running the west slope of the San Francisco Peaks in February, from Agassiz to Humphreys at about 12,000’ and by the time I got to Humphreys I was only a couple hundred feet below the peak which is 12,633’. I like the paths cut through the snow in the right side of the image by skiers.
A friend is currently working on some devices to hold GoPro cameras so I can shoot video from the vertical stab forward and also the end of the wings . I love the stills, but the video brings you into the moment as it is being lived. This video is about 20 minutes long flying ridge lift in the Wasatch Range in Utah, last September: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-uXgr4ibbA and he talks you through the flight. Lots of other videos too if you’re interested. The pilot is Bruno Vassel and he has many good ones to watch.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
