    Sedona Parks and Recreation Classes

05022011SedonaLogo6Sedona, AZ (September 19,2011) – Fall is the perfect time to enjoy exercising outdoors. Beginning September 15, adults can enjoy Cardio Tennis classes being offered at Posse Grounds Park through the Parks and Recreation Department. Not to be confused with tennis lessons, these are a high energy, fast paced, unique spin on the typical exercise class. USPTA Tennis Professional, Suzie Brown will lead participants through drills and routines all set to music. Enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view and camaraderie that is shared with others during this energetic class. No tennis experience is necessary, just tennis shoes and a racket. Some rackets are available for beginners.

Cardio Tennis Classes take place at the tennis courts located in Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road near West Sedona School. They will be held on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each class is $10 per participant and must be paid for in advance by registering at the Parks and Recreation office, 102 Roadrunner Drive, or by paying over the phone at 928-282-7098. There is a 4-person minimum for these classes to be held. The tennis instructor is also available for private tennis lessons for those interested.
