… love the Gambols quail and the way that the males serve as lookouts for the covey as they feed or whatever; they help keep the place safe from predators and at the same time provide great photo opportunities for photographers. I took this shot yesterday on my walk and it pretty well completes my exploring the planned uses of new Canon 5Ds R … mostly it will be for aerial shooting and also flowers/gems, small objects and the limited landscape work I do. I was back out with a 1D X for a while this afternoon looking for wildlife … not much of that to be found today, but there is always tomorrow.
Fun day mixed with working on the opal and taking breaks watching Chuck. Kinda like an hour and a half on the stone and an hour and a half watching Chuck … then the cycle repeated. Not a bad way to spend the day.
Time to wrap the day … enjoy the day and share your joy.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
