This piece has been created to honor, protect and bring awareness to Indigenous women and their stories. The one-hour presentation will have a short film and Q&A.
Trenholm will also present a Moment of Art on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. at the City Council meeting, located at 102 Roadrunner Dr.
Trenholm is the protégé of the late master sculptor John Soderberg. Her work explores themes of healing, unity and human dignity, often taking the form of public art.
“I am honored to invite multi-talented artist, Jill Trenholm to present The Deer Woman during National Women’s History Month. Art can beautify, heal, evoke emotion and educate, all while bringing community together,” said city of Sedona Arts and Culture Specialist Nancy Lattanzi.
