Yavapai College and Yavapai Athletics are happy to share that the annual Unity Event will once again be taking place this year!
The even begins at 10:30 on January 31st, 2026. The event will begin with a walk for Unity, followed by food and beverages that can be purchased from a food truck provided by The Eatery at Yavapai College.
Following the walk, Yavapai Athletics will be hosting two basketball games, starting with Women’s at 2 PM, then Men’s at 4 PM.
Unity Walk
Registration for the Unity Walk will begin at 10:30 AM at a check-in table at the Roughrider Circle (the plaza outside of Building 2). Participants can either check in and pay $10 for the event right at the table on the day of the event, or there is the option to register and pay ahead of time through the QR code on the flyer or the link at the top (See: Unity Walk Registration).
Participants have the option to take three different paths, which will lead through and around the Yavapai College campus!
Following the event, participants can partake in some good eats and beverages, provided by The Eatery. There will be a food truck parked in the Roughrider Circle, and in that area, there will also be music and yard games for all to participate in!
Basketball Games
At 2 PM, the Yavapai Women’s Basketball game will tip off against ACCAC Conference rival Southern Nevada. During halftime, there will be more Unity-related games, as well as trivia for the audience to participate in.
The Men’s Basketball game against Southern Nevada will tip off at 4 PM, filled with similar Unity-related events.
