… the San Francisco Peaks … one of my favorite places to hangout on the plateau. I spent a lot of time ridge soaring between Humphreys Peak to Agassiz Peak and back … sometimes slipping over the edge down into the inner basin and get great shots of the fall colors inside it.
The photo above was taken close to sunset on a January morning … the canyon running left to right in the lower portion of the photo is West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon. The mountain on the far right is Mt. Elden … a scene to dream on.
Below is a snow and cloud filled scene taken on the west side of the peaks … the sunny side on the right shows the ridge line running from Humphreys Peak to Agassiz Peak … going to the left from Agassiz Peak you have in order Doyle Peaks, Fremont Peak and Schultz Peak. The inner Basin is filled with clouds and not a good place to be in conditions like this.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
