Arizona News – Arcosanti is pleased to welcome Arizona bands Galactic Harmony and Rivers Run Wild to its outdoor amphitheather. Join us on Saturday, Nov. 2 for a night of magic, mystery and music as each band performs a full set of original tunes set against the beautiful backdrop of Arcosanti’s iconic architecture.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Performances begins at 7 p.m. with a showcase of intentional sonic medicine music by Sedona’s Rivers Run Wild. Phoenix-based folkadelic medicine jam band Galactic Harmony follows at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person.

Enhance your concert experience by arriving early for a 2 p.m. tour of Arcosanti. Learn about the experimental city’s rich 50-plus-year history as an attempt at a prototype arcology, integrating the design of architecture with respect to ecology. Founded in 1970, Arcosanti continues to influence young architects, urban planners and designers from around the world. Optional tour tickets can be purchased at arcosanti.org/tours.

Guests are invited to stay overnight for a Galactic Rivers sleepover in the Mind’s Garden, camping underneath the stars of the high desert. Spaces are limited, and campers are required to bring their own gear. Only 40 tent spots are available; a camping fee of $25 applies.

During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
