    • The full closure will be in effect from 6 – 8 a.m each day roughly between Cookstove Draw and Oak Creek Vista (mileposts 387-390).
      • NORTHBOUND DETOUR: Sedona area drivers traveling north to Flagstaff will use State Route 179 to Interstate 17.
      • SOUTHBOUND DETOUR: Flagstaff area drivers traveling south to Sedona will use I-17 to SR 179.

The highway will reopen to a single-lane restriction with alternating north- and southbound traffic controlled by a temporary traffic signal.

ADOT and its contractor are working closely with emergency responders to coordinate and maintain access of emergency vehicles and personnel while the closures and restrictions are in place.
