Sedona, AZ — Let’s sit down and Talk about Brewer Rd. Park.
I have yet to talk to anyone who understands Brewer rd park’s mission. Just another local park? An art-themed park,  a Sedona history park,? How will the buildings be used? Locals have been asking the same questions for over ten years.  Process has overtaken function at this point.
A park showcasing Sedona’s history and offering unique features can be a valuable addition to the community. I’m not asking for design changes, just a “Vision” .
Engaging with talented individuals and leveraging their resources can significantly enhance the park. By involving the community financially and creatively, you can tap into the wealth of ideas and support in Sedona. After all the park vision came from local community support groups not city or city staff.
While the planning process for Brewer Rd Park may already be underway, there is always room for improvement and additional input. Im not asking for design changes just “form and function” Open discussions and prioritizing design and functionality over strict procedures can lead to innovative and inspiring outcomes. Creating an environment that encourages collaboration, where ideas can be shared and refined, is essential.
Taking the time to consider the potential of Brewer Rd Park, as well as utilizing the available resources of time, money, and talent, can contribute to creating a truly remarkable and memorable public space.

Good points. There were several very innovative ideas prior to the election last year. They didn’t come from the sitting council however I believe Councilwoman Dunn had some of those ideas.

I’ve always wished that the park site would offer a permanent space for our Farmer’s Market.
