Sedona AZ (March 24, 2017) – Thursdays have gone to the dogs. Beginning April 6, Yappy Hour begins summer hours at its new time, 8-9 a.m. every Thursday.
Yappy Hour is a weekly event that takes place on the grass of the multi-use field at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Rd. Although city code and park rules require all dogs to be on a leash and to remain off the athletic fields at the park, the rules are bent for Yappy Hour.
Tips remember and share with your fellow dog owners to ensure this event can continue:
- Owners must pick up after their pets.
- Please be respectful of the rules and do not allow your dog on the fields during non-event hours.
Please remember that the multi-use field is not a dog park. There are gaps in the fence where a pet could potentially squeeze through. There is no division of small dog or large dog areas.
