    (July 15, 2025) Prescott, Arizona
Watters Garden Center invites local business owners and community members to an exclusive “Sip & Shop” event on Thursday, July 24, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This after-hours gathering offers a unique opportunity to connect, unwind, and discover new ways to support our vibrant local economy, all while enjoying the refreshing atmosphere of Watters Garden Center.

This isn’t just a shopping event; it’s a chance for local businesses to see how community engagement can attract new customers and foster a supportive environment. Think of it as a pre-dinner happy hour with a green twist, perfect for those who can’t make it to the garden center during regular business hours.

Here’s what attendees can look forward to:

Garden Center Tour @ 4:30-5pm: Ken Lain will be giving a personal garden center tour of             new plant and Happenings at Watters Garden Center. Join the Fun.

    • Rare Plant Releases: Be among the first to get your hands on newly arrived Miranda Pitcher Plants ‘not yet pre-sold’, available starting at 4:00 PM. Plus, a brand-new shipment of houseplants lands Thursday, and Sip & Shop attendees get first dibs before they hit the main floor.
    • Refreshments: We are supporting small vineyard wine owners, locally crafted beers, herbal mocktails, and other drinks and snacks complementary. Shopping is always better with a sip in hand.
    • Exclusive Plant Deals: Purchase any item during the Sip & Shop, and take home one FREE select flower while supplies last! This includes a variety of red, pink, white and Sunset gold flowers and other summer gems.
    • Mystery Deals: Keep an eye out for a “sneaky deal” on Thai Constellation plants – you’ll have to be there to discover it.

“We believe in the power of community, and this Sip & Shop is our way of bringing people together,” says Ken Lain, owner of Watters Garden Center. “It’s a relaxed setting for local business owners to network and for local gardeners to enjoy a different side of Watters. Come experience the vibes, find your new favorite leafy friend, and see how supporting local can be both easy and enjoyable.”

    Non-Profit Support for Local Schools

During our Sip & Shop event, we will also be raising school support money through the Prescott Frontier Rotary and their Grapes 4 Good fundraiser. We invite every attendee to make a heartfelt donation of any amount they desire. Every contribution helps support our local schools.

Whether you bring the girlfriends, come solo, or for a unique date night, this event promises good company, great plants, and an opportunity to strengthen our local ties.
