Has he lost his mind? Has he gone cuckoo? Did he lose his marbles?
How could he be so stupid? Trump continues attacking a man that holds his future in the palm of his hand.
He is giving the judge all the ammunition he needs to throw the book at him.
Even if he just places Trump under house arrest, he hobbles the Republican effort to take the White House.
Just think of the perp walk spectacle or the handcuffing.
It’s ugly, and it’s no joke. The judge is pissed and itching for revenge.
People can argue back and forth whether the trial was rigged or not; but it makes no difference. This judge is going to get even.
The worst the judge could do, besides hauling the ex-president off to Riker’s Island, is to ground him with an ankle bracelet at home.
It would be under his probation officer’s purview to allow Trump to travel to Mar-a-Lago.
It will kill any debates, saving Biden the embarrassment.
There will be no campaign while waiting for the disposition of his appeal. The best he could do would be mass Zoom meetings.
The other side of the coin is that the ex-president’s incarceration will earn him a billion in contributions, further cementing his image as a martyr, a sacrificial lamb for the people.
So, is Trump nuts or as crazy as a fox, vilifying that judge and his family?
The judge is going to come down on him, and one can be sure he will try to hurt Trump as deeply as he could get away with, without sending Trump immediately to the hoosegow.
Logistics nullify that option.
So, the judge will do the next best thing: confining him at home.
Again, will Trump win or lose election?
Depends on the speed of Biden’s debilitation. It’s all about timing and smoke and mirrors at this point.
Biden’s people are well aware of this one and know the administration is sliding down the edge of a razor on this one. The president’s cognitive abilities and decline are Biden’s Achilles’ ankle.
They need to be in control of every second they are out there in the public eye. Nothing could be left to chance.
With Trump under house arrest, Biden won’t have to worry about a possible debate. Stay low. And if he has to talk, he is most effective when he shouts. Someone should write him a speech where he gets to pound a podium.
Push women’s rights. Slam the anti-abortionists. Get those angry women to the polls.
Bombard the public with good news, true or otherwise, about how great the economy is and how well off everyone is under Democratic rule.
And, of course, use AI to show a miserable Trump in leg irons and striped prison uniforms.
The Trump faction needs to create as much fear about the border as possible. Push crime. Push the invasion at the border. Scare the heck out of everybody. Talk about crooked courts, and taking back the country, blah blah blah.
Convince everyone Biden is whacked out. Brain dead. Done. Have the sycophants at FOX news run videos of Biden bumbling and stumbling non-stop.
Avoid talking about abortions. Make Ramaswamy his VP choice.
So, let’s see what the judge is going to do.
The smart money bet is home incarceration until the appeal is heard and decided.

Thank you, again, Tommy, for the insights. But why don’t you mention RFKJr as a viable way out of this chaotic mess of two old white guys whose capabilities are questionable at best?? Sure, RFKJr is 70, which is no spring chicken, but can YOU do pull-ups the way he does them? Can any of us talk of vaccine safety, Jung, Monsanto the way he does?? Our drugged and addicted culture?
