… the Osprey above is diving for a rainbow trout in the pond at Rainbow Trout Farm, up canyon and he is manipulating every flight feather and his body to ensure an accurate attack on the trout that is in his sights … yes, he did get it and flew off with his prize. These birds are very discriminating and know where to obtain the finest food … you should visit and try the trout from there! They are raised and kept in pure spring water … and if you are not in the area, you can buy it on Amazon.

Below is a Black Hawk rising into the trees on the north end of the Trout Farm Pond … methinks he scored too!

A day with a lot of work around the house and the day to roast a couple of pounds of fine coffee that I get from my friends at Burman Coffee Traders … I do three different roasts of the beans and blend them together … medium light, medium and dark roast. The various oils and flavonoids cook off the longer you roast the beans and thus with the blended three roasts I get the maximum flavor out of the coffee … more caffeine too as that is one of the first things that cook off.

Into the weekend and a good one it will be … visits with friends and my new long-range Canon zoom lens arrives … 200 mm to 800 mm … thanks to my friends at District Camera in the DC area. I have been doing business with them for about twenty years and have purchased almost 100% of my camera gear from them doing this period. If you’re in the market for camera gear give them a call and tell them I referred, you … you’ll be happy with your business dealings. Ask for Eldar or Jack.

The classes went well yesterday, and the kids were great … really admire those who have chosen to devote their lives to teaching … they can instill a lifelong thirst for knowledge and help make our world a better place.

Give a smile to those you meet and greet … give thanks for the day for that is all there is! Keep breathing too, I find it a wonderful way to make it a good day 🙂

    Cheers,

If you compare yourself with others, you may
become vain or bitter, for always there will be
greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy
your achievements as well as your plans. Keep
interested in your own career, however humble; it
is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

I was talking to the Sedona.biz publisher/editor the other day, Tommy Acosta, and learned that our common friend Fernando Rivera of North Carolina passed away. It was reported that life and time caught him and then overcame him, and his heart quietly and suddenly failed.
